PRASHAST’14

RCERT being a happening college is famous for organizing events round the year. Prashast is also one such event organized by the students for the students. The event took place on 6^th,7^th & 8^th March’14 in the campus of RCERT. The event Prashast is organized not only to provide a platform to students to excel their talent but to develop their entrepreneur skills. The working chemistry of the students, their unlimited energy, their never give up attitude, their organizing capabilities and above all their spirit of making Prashast a grand success was amazing.

Day One (March 06, 2014)

On 6^th of March at 9:00 AM was the inaugural ceremony of the much awaited event. The heat of the Prashast can be felt with the loads of students dropping in wearing Prashast T-shirt and faces glowing with a feeling of being a part of the event. Students had decorate the Auditorium beautifully with the fragnance of fresh flowers, colours of rangoli and aroma of burning candles. There was lighting of lamp and garlanding of Maa Saraswati and Lord Ganesha.

The host of the inaugural ceremony were Uttkarsh seth and Priyanka. The dice was graced by our group chairman Sh. Prem Surana Sir, Director General Mam Mrs. Pramila Surana, Director Mr. Kabool Chandra, Principal Dr. R.S. Tiwari. The chief guest of the event was Mr. R.S. Tyagi, Director Doordarshan. The guest of honour were Mr. Anish Johari, D.G.M. Mahindra Group and Mr. Digvijay Bhandari, young entrepreneur exporter, Director R3 greens and Mrs. Nidhi Khariwal convener, Prashast’14. After the felicitations was the unfurling of the posters of the Prashast’14. All the guest were present a floral pot carrying a social message. The convener Ms. Nidhi gave a spell bounding speech which filled the Auditorium with energy and enthusiasm. The event showcased around 40 activities.

The event was divided into four segments cultural which had singing, wraping, dancing and ramps. The technical events had paper presentations, seminars, projects, poster making, google hunt, junkyard, robo wars, Robo Mania, Photography etc.

The sports has regular outdoor sports such as volleyball, basketball etc. gull cricket was the most crowed gatherer. Indoor sports had chess competition to brain storm the minds, playing cards etc. fun mania was the most innovative segment which had chittischitti jam jam, Rangoli, Mehandi, Fireless cooking, photography and many other activities. Fun arena had stalls of games, mouthwatering dishes etc which were all crowd pullers and to which the students enjoyed maximum.

The main attractions of the event were- On 6^th after the inaugural ceremony was “Prashast Got Talent” in which students set the floor on fire with their talents. “ “Comedy nights with Vaibhav Choudhary “ was hilarious. People literally jumped from their seats. The hosts of PGT were Shailendra & Bijaya.

6^th March afternoon was very special. There was shoot of “Janmanch” programme by E-Tv Rajasthan. The programme was specially designed for our college students & faculty members and was dedicated to Holi. Vice chairman Mr. Anshu Surana with other faculty members kept their view points regarding youth & Holi celebration. In the end everybody danced and playing holi with dry colours. The programme shall be telecast on 16^th morning from 9:10 AM.

Day Two (March 07, 2014)

On 7^th was the gala evening which showcased live bands, ramps, songs, wrapping, dancing and other talents. The haost of the evening was Vaibhav Choudhary.

Day Three (March 08, 2014)

On 8^th March morning there was “Alumni Meet”. Passed out students stared dropping in at 12:30 around. Dr. Garurav Jain conducted the Alumni Meet which was very entertaining. Mr. Anshu Surana Vice Chairman Sir presented Memento to each Alumni and interacted with the students. The programme was followed by lunch and Alumnus enjoyed the celeb evening.

In the evening on 8^th March before the celebrity night commenced there was short prize distribution ceremony. Mr. Anshu Surana Vice Chairman Sir handed over the prizes to the winners of the respective events.

The celebs Singer “Sharib Sabri” and “Ramji Gulati” the only “live remixer” of India rocked the night with their scintillating performances on foot stamping numbers. The crowd went mad with Ramji’s remixed songs.

In the end convener Mrs. Nidhi Khariwal tanked all the core committee members, committee heads, co-ordinators and volunteers.

The convener & the core committee members extended their gratitutde to Vice Chairman Sir Mr. Anshu Surana who had been a great support, solved all the problems during Prashast and encouraged the Team Prashast at every step.

The convener Mrs. Nidhi Khariwal extended thanks the management, Diretor General Madam, Director, Principal, Co-convener, Core committee members committee heads, co-ordinators and volunteers.

Deepak Mather, Shailendra Singh & Ashirwad Vats presented a memento to the convener, Prashast, Co-convener and to Payal mam, Archana Mam as finance team, Abhishek Joshi for overall co-ordination.

Prashast ended with lot of fun, Masti, enthusiasm and smile on every face.
